Arsenal transfer news: Reiss Nelson’s new deal announced

Yesterday Arsenal revealed their latest deal. After already signing Kai Havertz this summer, Mikel Arteta begins to focus his attention on contract renewals (which are just as important as new signings).

Reiss Nelson has signed his new contract, as officially announced by Arsenal on Twitter.

Arsenal transfer news: Three deals expected to be settled today

This morning, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had given fans plenty of reasons to be excited about the day. Romano says THREE new deals will be finalized today: a contract extension for William Saliba and reserved doctors for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

Arsenal are really doing crazy things in this transfer window, but it was sorely needed. As for Saliba, we saw how instrumental he was to Arsenal’s defense last season and bringing in versatile defender Timber as a backup will prove valuable should Saliba or Gabriel go down with injury. Let’s hope not, but the option is reassuring.
