Arsenal have opened talks with Bundesliga star Benjamin Henrichs’ management about a possible move to the club this summer, according to Sky Sports Germany. The 26-year-old RB Leipzig player is versatile, capable of playing both as a right-back, wing-back and midfield.
While talks are claimed to have occurred, the defender is said to only be seen as a backup target at this stage and it remains to be seen if a deal will be sought.

Increase in offer for Aurelien Tchouameni
Arsenal are set to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, according to Spanish outlet Defensa Central. The report claims that the Gunners touted the possibility of an initial offer of approximately £69m for the France international, shortly after he moved to Los Blancos.
With a deal unlikely to be struck there, the north London outfit are also said to have increased any potential offer to roughly £77m. It comes as Mikel Arteta looks to rework his midfield ranks, though it remains to be seen if such an expensive move would be sanctioned after a series of other big deals.
Granit Xhaka deal agreed
Granit Xhaka is closing in on a £21.5m transfer to Bayer Leverkusen in the coming weeks. football.london understands Reports had previously suggested the Swiss international would join the Bundesliga side for a fee of roughly £13m, however the deal is now set to bag the Gunners more than is claimed.
