So often under Pep Guardiola a player comes back from sale and has contributed to some of Manchester City’s biggest wins.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is always a name that comes to mind, but lately Gabriel Jesus has completely turned his fortunes around at the Etihad Stadium and is almost unstoppable.
Last weekend, the Brazilian scored four goals in a 5-1 breakdown of Watford. The first two showed his predatory instincts, his hat-trick was an icy penalty after a long delay and his fourth completed a slick City move.
He brought his Premier League form to Europe on Tuesday, scoring City’s second in a 4-3 win over 13-time winner Real Madrid. The 25-year-old clung to a Kevin De Bruyne cross and made a clean turn and finish.

His Blues teammate, Bernardo Silva, spoke to ManCity.com after the game on a variety of topics, but he kept some special praise for Jesus.
“Gabriel Jesus is in fantastic shape. He scored four goals last weekend, one more on Tuesday.” Silva started.
“He’s a great player and he deserves the best for the way he trains and plays for the team.
“With his talent, his attitude to help the team is admirable. He is one of our most important players.”
Jesus started the season in a new position – right. The Brazilian has reportedly been in favor of the switch to adapt his playing style, but recent rumors seem to contradict that thinking.
It has been reported that Jesus is looking to leave City this summer, and Arsenal are eager to take him to the Emirates Stadium.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has previously worked with the striker during his stint as Guardiola’s assistant manager, so a deal shouldn’t be too difficult to negotiate if the striker actually wants to move on.
