
Ten Pakistani soldiers were killed when terrorists attacked a security checkpoint in Kech district in the troubled southwestern province of Balochistan, the army said Thursday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) – the military’s media wing – said the “fire attack” by terrorists took place on the night of January 25-26. Ten soldiers were killed in intense firefights, it said, adding that one terrorist was killed and several others injured in the incident. (PTI inputs)
