Vistara cancels several flights for February, offers exemption from change fees for reschedule
Vistara airline has canceled several flights for February while many more were moved due to low demand, aviation sources said on Sunday, according to a report from ANI. A Vistara spokesperson said Monday that they are offering a change fee waiver for one-time rescheduling of all direct bookings with travel through March 31.
“After a sharp decline in air travel demand, due to the sharp increase in COVID-19 numbers and restrictions imposed by several state governments, we are seeing a marginal increase in traffic in February compared to the previous month,” a Vistara spokesperson said.
“However, in view of volatility, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and match capacity to demand. With the aim of minimizing inconvenience to customers, we are offering a change fee waiver for one-time rescheduling on all direct bookings with travel up to March 31,” she added.
