Dembélé hit for Chelsea
Chelsea have been hit hard in their possible pursuit of Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. Journalist Fabricius Romano reports that positive talks have been held between the Frenchman and the Catalan club about a new deal, with the current one expiring at the end of the season.
The Blues were linked with a move for the striker in January, with a deadlock between him and his club creating the possibility of a departure amid reports he was told to leave while still under contract. Despite reports of a move for Dembele, Tuchel insisted there had been no rapprochement and that they had a “quiet” January transfer window. “I had no contact with Ousmane. There was no contact in winter,” he said.

Sarri contemplates Cobham raid
Ruben Loftus-Cheek tops Maurizio Sarri’s summer transfer list, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport. The report states that the 26-year-old has been identified as the ideal replacement for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who faces an uncertain future at the club.
