20:17 The Scout says: “Reclassified as a midfielder for 2023/24 Fantasy, Brennan Johnson’s 43 shots into the box and 27 shots on target last season were both the best on the team.”
8:00 PMIt’s time to see the awards for four Nottingham Forest players.
19:41 The explorer says: “Mitrovic’s average of 143.1 minutes per goal last season ranked fifth among players in his position with more than five goals.”
7:20 pmHaving scored 14 goals last season, Aleksandar Mitrovic is available for £7.5m for 2023/24 Fantasy. Can he justify that price tag?
19:02 We have more prizes! Four Fulham players announced…
6:42 pm FPL pundit Sam Bonfield was surprised after Mohamed Salah was offered a price drop to £12.5 million.
“By the end of last season, he was back with the Salah we know and love. Weirdly, he feels like a bit of a bargain!”
6:25 pm Says The Scout: “Alexis Mac Allister (£6.0m) has the potential to become a budget gem in Liverpool’s 3-2-2-3 formation.
Mac Allister is expected to play a central attacking midfield role behind a front three, a role he played for Brighton in the second half of last season.
“The Argentine’s total of 58 shots and 23 shots on target were both among the top five players in Fantasy from Gameweek 20 in 2022/23.”
6:00 PM The arrival of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion has sparked excitement among Liverpool fans, but will he be able to match The Reds’ other star midfielders in Fantasy this season?

17:22 The Scout says: “Alexander-Arnold could be worth the bounty. He produced a goal and seven assists in his last 10 games last season.”
5:15 PM Andrew Robertson is £1.5m cheaper than Alexander-Arnold. Are you tempted to save some money and go for the left-back? Jurgen Klopp’s tactics will be key.
5:10 pm Big news! Trent Alexander-Arnold is still classified as a defender in Fantasy, and he will cost a whopping £8.0 million.
16:41 FPL pundit and Spurs fan Sam Bonfield likes the look of Son Heung-min’s £9.0 million price tag.
“I think that makes him a really attractive option,” she said earlier on the FPL Show. “If Son costs £9.0 million I’d be really intrigued to see what James Maddison’s price will be. But [Son] is a viable alternative to having Harry Kane.”
16:22 Says The Scout: “Attacking right-back Connor Roberts (£4.5million) scored four goals and provided six assists for Championship winners Burnley last season.”
16:01 Burnley completes the newly promoted trio.

15:33 We learned on the FPL Show that promoted forwards Carlton Morris and Iliman Ndiaye will both cost £5.5 million. Could they make an early impact, as Aleksandar Mitrovic did after coming out of the Championship with Fulham last season?
15:14 The Scout says: “Sheff Utd centre-back Anel Ahmedhodzic (£4.5million) produced
six goals and two assists in 34 Championship outings last season, highlighting his great attacking threat.”
3:00 PM We have awards for more promoted players, this time from Sheffield United.

14:22The Scout has already seen a budget gem at Luton, saying: “Versatile defender Amari’i Bell (£4.0m) started 46 games in the Championship and play-offs last season, more than any other outfield player.”
14:07 Luton Town are the first club to show more of their player awards. What a moment for their stars as they not only join the Premier League but also become part of Fantasy.
2:00 PM Premier League clubs are now starting to announce FPL prices for some of their players, so stay tuned…
1:55 PM The Scout says: “A rise of just £0.5m suggests Ollie Watkins (£8.0m) can remain an attractive choice. Watkins was the sixth highest-grossing player in Fantasy after the arrival of Unai Emery.”
13:50 Do any of these midfielders stand out?
13:40 Haaland has the joint highest starting fee in FPL history and is only the fourth player to start a Fantasy campaign for £14.0m after Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie and Cristiano Ronaldo.
1:30 PM The Scout says: “Erling Haaland (£14.0m) rises to £2.5m for 2023/24 thanks to 36 goals, nine assists and 272 points in his debut Fantasy campaign.
“Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) loses £0.5m this season, but he was the top-scoring player in 2022/23 Fantasy after Liverpool changed tactics in Gameweek 30.”
1:25 PM It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for.
13:20 Spurs’ Son Heung-min will be available for £9.0 million. Is he on your mind right now?
Says The Scout: “A huge drop of £3.0 million suggests the Spurs star could be of great value in new head coach Ange Postecoglou’s attacking 4-3-3 formation.”
13:18 Kieran Trippier will cost you £6.5 million. FPL expert Sam Bonfield says: “I was hoping it wouldn’t be such a big jump. He might be one I would begrudgingly miss.”
13:16 Do you rotate these two keepers?
13:14 There is a change of position for Bryan Mbeumo, who is now classified as a midfielder for £6.5 million. Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze has the same price.
The Scout says: “The Brentford striker has been reclassified as a midfielder for 2023/24 and has the early schedule to warrant a small £0.5m increase.”
13:11 The Scout says: “Last season, the versatile Christopher Nkunku (£7.5m) played as a centre-forward 16 goals and provided a further six assists in the Bundesliga.”
13:10 Chelsea’s new signing Christopher Nkunku is classified as a striker in Fantasy and is valued at £7.5 million.
13:08 The explorer says: “Martin Odegaard (£8.5m) earns a £2.0m price increase after finishing as Arsenal’s highest scoring player in Fantasy on 212 points last season.
For Bruno Fernandes (£8.5m), a drop of £1.5m boosts his midfield appeal from managers. Fernandes’ 119 key passes and 32 big chances both created last season among the top two players.
13:05 Martin Odegaard and Bruno Fernandes are both priced at £8.5 million, while Kaoru Mitoma is priced at £6.5 million and Ollie Watkins at £8.0 million. What do you think of that?
