How Liverpool players spent their holidays when Mohamed Salah saw him with agent – Liverpool Echo
The Liverpool first team have about a week of holiday left before they return for pre-season.
Those who were not involved in last month’s internationals – including the ongoing European Under-21 Championships – will return to the AXA Training Center on July 8, while those who were will follow three days later.
During the break, the players have been spotted around the world enjoying time with friends and family away from the pressures of their rigorous routines as athletes. This continued into July, with the Reds making every minute count.
Mohamed Salah is the most active of the squad on social media. A week after the end of last season, he started sharing photos in his home country, Egypt, on the beach, at sea and playing backgammon, among other things.

However, the recently turned 31-year-old has swapped his rest and relaxation posts for building up his fitness in the gym before returning to England. He was also photographed with his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, at a Japanese restaurant in Dubai [above].
Offensive partner Luis Diaz also recently posted about his summer, but chose to condense his into one video edit, contrary to Salah’s preference for constant holiday snaps.
Interestingly, Andy Robertson has spent his time away from the spotlight with other members of the trade, but not with any of his Liverpool teammates. Well, current Liverpool teammates, that is.
The left back posed for a photo with recently departed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – who is still looking for a new club – as well as Brighton’s Danny Welbeck and Robert Sanchez. Could that be a hint to where Ox will end up next season?
Based on Welbeck’s profile, this meeting took place in the Algarve, Portugal.

Ending on a different note, following Cody Gakpo’s charitable giving during his visit to Togo and Darwin Nunez’s role in a one-off match at his hometown of Artigas earlier this summer, Kostas Tsimikas became the latest to give back to those less fortunate.
The Greek Scouser was also back in his homeland and, as ambassador of the Giant Heart group, shared his pleasure at the opening of an artificial grass football field in the city of Serres.
