Kerala Supreme Court banned gatherings of more than 50 people in Kasargod district for a week. The court has issued the preliminary injunction on a plea against the withdrawal of the Kasargod District Collector’s injunction imposing restrictions in the wake of COVID-19.

The Chief Minister said that 12 towns of Surendranagar, Dhrangradhra, Morbi, Wankaner, Dhoraji, Gondal, Jetpur, Kalawad, Godhra, Vijalpore, Navsari, Bilimora, Vyarav, Vyapar have curfews from 10pm to 6am every night from January 22 to January 29.

A curfew is currently in effect in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar, in addition to Anand and Nadiad.
