The right-back is currently on loan to Liverpool from newly promoted Fulham and played a key role in the Cottagers’ promotion to the Premier League without fuss in the second part of the season.

However, Williams has said he is not sure where he will play next season: “I don’t know yet where I will play next season.

“My focus this year is on finishing the games in Wales in June and we’ll see what happens then. Whether that will stay with Liverpool or whether it will be loaned again, I’m not quite sure at the moment.”

According to the report, Liverpool is among clubs such as Manchester United and Newcastle following the young striker Hugo Ekikike.

Reims expects a lot of interest in the 19-year-old, who has scored 10 goals this season, and Reims chairman Jean-Pierre Caillot has said the club will not stand in the way of Ekikike’s departure.
