Liverpool reportedly had scouts in Germany this weekend to check out RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo, who could leave this summer.
According to 90min, the Anfield side had a representative in Bavaria to watch the Spain international against Bayern Munich, with Liverpool eyeing Olmo as the 25-year-old looks set to leave Leipzig at the end of this season.
The former Dinamo Zagreb star’s contract expires in 2024, and Leipzig could be tempted to cash in on Olmo amid growing interest in the playmaker, with Liverpool one of the parties interested in signing the Bundesliga superstar.

With a reported asking price of £33million, Olmo could represent fantastic value in the transfer market, especially with Liverpool looking to make a staggering three midfield signings this summer, with the Spaniard a different option to those already linked.
Hailed by Pep Guardiola as a ‘fantastic, fantastic player’, Olmo could be an interesting signing for Liverpool this summer. And with Anfield officials eyeing the versatile midfielder so soon before the opening of the transfer window, a possible move could now be on the cards.
Olmo could be Liverpool’s plan B for Mount

With Alexis Mac Allister all but confirmed as a Liverpool player, the next step for the Reds will be to sign another midfielder. Should a deal to bring Mason Mount to Merseyside collapse, Olmo could be an exceptional plan B for the England international.
Only a year older than Mount, but arguably the better and versatile player. Olmo has many qualities that could make the Spaniard a hit at Anfield, and with a £33million valuation, the former Barcelona academy star could be a cheap option. this summer.
