Liverpool are exploring a deal for RB Leipzig’s Dominik Szoboszlai as they continue to assess midfield rebuild options. Hungary captain Szoboszlai has emerged as one of the brightest young talents in the Bundesliga after joining Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg two years ago.

Clearly, a meeting has taken place with Szoboszlai’s Hungary-based representatives EM Sports Management as Liverpool continue to explore what’s possible this summer, having already signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of signing their number 1 target, Declan Rice, after agreeing a deal in principle with West Ham worth £105 million. That’s according to the Daily Mail, which reports that Arsenal’s bid proposed paying the guaranteed portion of the fee over the course of four years.
