Liverpool transfer news LIVE – Romeo Lavia change, Kylian Mbappé bid, Harvey Elliott hint – Liverpool Echo
Good morning and welcome to our LIVE Liverpool transfer blog for Friday 7th July.
Rumors claimed yesterday that Liverpool have reportedly made a €200 million bid to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint Germain. As bogus as the story may sound, Mbappé’s future is currently up in the air after being given an ultimatum by the club’s hierarchy. Meanwhile, the Reds are said to have inquired about Chelsea’s 20-year-old defender Levi Colwill. .
Elsewhere, any hopes Liverpool had of finalizing a deal for Mason Mount were all but dashed after the England midfielder’s move to Manchester United was confirmed. Nevertheless, the likes of Romeo Lavia, Kephram Thuram and Manu Kone are still being linked with a move to Anfield.
Spending also appears to be a priority for the Reds as Jurgen Klopp continues to rejuvenate his squad. Jordan Henderson, Thiago and especially Mohamed Salah have been linked to moves to Saudi Arabia in recent days.
