Man City season ticket prices compared to the rest of the Premier League – Manchester Evening News

Manchester City fans will pay less for season tickets next season than supporters of almost any other Premier League club – and the least of all the ‘big six’ sides.

The Blues may have won the Treble last year, but they still offer some of the cheapest ticket prices. City fans who have bought season tickets in the past six seasons have seen their team win the title in five of them.

There are few teams of Premier League fans who pay as little week in, week out to watch their side as those who follow City. Despite winning the historic treble in 22/23, City have only raised their prices by around five per cent, meaning the cheapest tickets for 19 matches for 23/34 will cost just £385.

That’s cheaper than all but two other clubs in the first tier, with West Ham charging just £310. The most expensive ticket available at the Etihad costs £1,030, one of the more expensive in the league, but well below what some clubs charge.

In comparison, Arsenal fans pay a whopping £973.50 for their cheapest 19-game season ticket, the most of any top club.

After Arsenal, their North London rivals Tottenham have the next most expensive tickets on average, with £807 for the cheapest option. However, with the most expensive package available from Spurs costing £2,015, Tottenham fans will pay more for the best seats.

However, no club charges more for their premium season tickets than Fulham.

Fans at Craven Cottage were outraged to learn of an 18 per cent increase in season ticket renewal fees for this season, with a premium ticket in the new Riverside Stand costing as much as £3,000 – although their cheapest option is much more reasonable £ 455.

After Spurs and Arsenal, Liverpool (£699), Aston Villa (£610) and Chelsea (£595) are the clubs that charge the most for their cheapest season tickets.

At the other end of the scale, West Ham’s £310 season tickets are the cheapest, followed by Sheffield United (£380.50), Manchester City (£385) and Brentford (£419).

Both Newcastle United and recently promoted Luton Town have released little information on costs for the upcoming season, but last year the Magpies charged between £417 and £811 for a season ticket, with Luton’s prices ranging from £430-£500.
