Manchester United transfer news LIVE Man Utd submit ‘improved’ Andre Onana offer as goalkeeper’s plan revealed – Manchester Evening News

Manchester United have made their first signing of the summer transfer window after the arrival of Mason Mount.

England international Mount has joined from Chelsea for an initial investment of £55m to become Old Trafford’s first fresh face this summer. United says it will air the first interview with Mount at 9:30am and we’ll bring it all to you as soon as it comes up.

But the 24-year-old is expected not to be the last signing made by Erik ten Hag’s side this summer, as both goalkeeper and centre-forward are priority positions for United to fill this summer. Following the departure of David de Gea following the expiration of his contract and the uncertainty of whether he will sign new terms, Inter Milan’s Andre Onana has been tipped as the first-choice target for the Ten Hag team’s goalkeeper.

And the reinforcements in the upper part of the field have been a clear priority for some time. Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, Rasmus Højlund and Randal Kolo Muani are targets identified by the Old Trafford club.

But they are not only additions that are expected this summer. Expenditure is also anticipated in the coming months to help boost the club’s transfer budget.

Stay tuned for the latest United news around the clock on the transfer front.
