The number of two-wheelers in the city has reached 25 lakh, meaning there are 1250 two-wheelers for every kilometer of road. Statistics show that 1.24 lakh new scooters and motorcycles were added last year alone, an average of 340 new bike registrations per day, despite the lockdown months during the Covid-19 pandemic.
