The state government issued a press release Tuesday evening saying that all existing Covid restrictions, including restrictions on unvaccinated people for travel on public transport, including local trains, are still in effect. The statement said that while orders issued in July and August last year were withdrawn, orders issued later in October 2021 and January 2022 mandating masks, social distancing, hygiene and travel restrictions will continue. “We have issued this statement to clarify the matter to the public in order to avoid conflict with the authorities,” a senior official said.
