Rangers will compete against Servette of Racing Genk in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
Michael Beale’s side finished second in the Premiership cinch last season, seven points behind champions Celtic.
Rangers reached the group stage last season but were knocked out after losing all six games against Napoli, Liverpool and Ajax after a tight draw.
Servette finished second in the Swiss Super League last year, while Genk topped the Belgian Pro League, but lost to Antwerp in the play-offs.
The two face each other in the second round of qualifying, with the winner taking on Rangers – the first leg will take place at Ibrox on 8/9 August and the return leg on 15 August.
If they win the two-legged tie, Rangers would progress to a play-off round where they can face either PSV Eindhoven or Marseille.
