The Crystal Palace talisman injured his hamstring during his international service with the Ivory Coast, kicking him out of their 3-0 defeat to England.
However, Zaha has been given plenty of rest since the injury occurred and he is now hopeful that he will face the Gunners at Selhurst Park on Monday.
The South Londoners are on an unbeaten run of six games under Patrick Vieira, winning four of them, with the 29-year-old playing a big part.
Zaha has scored three goals in his last four Premier League outings and the Gunners will be tasked with stopping him when he is fit.
Crystal Palace would be crazy to play Wilfried Zaha against Arsenal
In our opinion, Vieira cannot risk the Ivorian against Arsenal.
Crystal Palace have an FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea on April 17 and they cannot afford to be without Zaha at Wembley.
The Eagles are currently comfortably 12th in the Premier League and are very unlikely to be relegated.
That’s why Vieira Zaha shouldn’t risk against the Gunners as it just isn’t worth it with such a huge game on the horizon.
Players like Odsonne Edouard or Jesurun Rak-Sakyi should be given opportunities in his place, in what is essentially a free hit for Crystal Palace.
If Zaha plays and his hamstring problem worsens, causing him to miss the semi-finals, supporters will be furious with Vieira.
