After losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday, all who belonged to Liverpool were cheered up on Sunday with a fantastic emotional parade through the city and we can show you the best photos from the event here.
The Liverpool men’s team finished the season with a domestic cup double but were close to a historic quadruple, just missing the Premier League and then losing the European Cup final.
The Liverpool FC women’s team also shared their success at the parade after a stellar season winning the FA Women’s Championship.

It is estimated that over half a million people attended the parade in what was an incredible afternoon in Liverpool, which markedly boosted players’ morale after the disappointment of losing the European Cup.
