Nani supported Lionel Messi to become a success in MLS

Lionel Messi is about to start a new journey in his career. The Argentine will join MLS club Inter Miami as a free agent when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expires on June 30, 2023.

Ex-Manchester United star Nani, who previously played in the MLS for Orlando City, tipped Messi to be a success in the league. Nani said of the Argentina captaincy (via GOAL):

“I think it will be a really good experience for him. You have to have the strength to manage the little things that make it difficult for him, like turf and the long flights. He can handle that. He doesn’t care about it for all competitions. He will have a lot of fun with it.”

He added:

“Playing in America has been great for me and I think everyone here loves the lifestyle, and the momentum of the competition is fantastic. It’s going to be a really good time for him and for the fans who follow MLS, because he’s a great player who can deliver fantastic football and that’s the most important thing.”

Lionel Messi will have a familiar face alongside him at Inter Miami as the MLS club confirmed that Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets will also join the side on a free transfer.
